Kalbarri National Park Closure

The Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) wishes to advise that the inland gorge area of Kalbarri National Park will be closed to all Park visitors from 7pm Sunday 21 February 2010 to 6am Saturday 26 February 2010, in order to undertake an intensive goat control program.

The closure will include all roads and fire breaks leading into the inland gorges and day use sites including the Loop, Z Bend, Hawk's Head and Ross Graham. Access to all of the Park's coastal sites will remain open.

The National Park will be patrolled and entry stations staffed for the duration of the goat control program.
