Banjima Drive West and Eco Retreat in Karijini National Park closed due to wildfire

The Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) wishes to advise that due to a wildfire in the vicinity of Weano Gorge and Joffre Gorge, Banjima Drive in Karijini National Park will be closed at the western Karijini Drive entrance (Mount Bruce) and west of the Kalamina Gorge turnoff. Closures will be in affect from 9am Wednesday 25 November 2009, until further notice.

Karijini Eco-retreat will also be closed.

The Karijini Visitors Centre, Dales Camping Area, Dales Day Use Area and Kalamina Falls will remain open.
